Providing clean drinking water to every resident in the city of Oneida is one of our city government’s most important services. Up-to-date water mains, sewer pipes, and wastewater treatment plants are critical to protect our lakes, rivers, and drinking water from contaminants that could make people sick.
That’s why I introduced two resolutions in the Oneida Common Council calling on Gov. Cuomo and the state Legislature to increase water infrastructure funding in this year’s state budget. The resolutions passed unanimously.
