Opportunity

Organize Florida seeks a highly motivated, talented, and dynamic individual to serve as Sr. Finance & Accounting Manager to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Along with the Vice President of Finance & Accounting, the Sr. Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for a range of general accounting, financials, bookkeeping and administrative functions. In addition, the manager will fill in for the Vice President of Finance & Accounting, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prep for final approval monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting metrics for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Oversee certain budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow processes
  • Create budgets & cash flow forecast
  • Ensuring the flow in the day-to-day processes for the department
  • Process all accounts payables and receivables, reconcile business credit cards, as needed
  • Perform general HR processes as it pertains to the organizations finances, payroll and benefits
  • Manage healthcare for contract vendor
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain related vendor & HR files; issue 1099 at the end of the year
  • Serve as the key partner to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting to continue to develop the Finance & Administration Department in systems, strategy and implementation
  • Review the audit systems for overall organizational financial health
  • Step into Vice President of Finance & Accounting role and responsibilities in their absence
  • All other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in accounting and financial practices
  • 1-3 years of direct management experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of how to create and manage budgets
  • Intermediate to Expert level at reading financial reports; ability to perform cash flow analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a customer service orientation
  • Must be Quickbooks proficient
  • Strong attention to detail; able to work on a collaborative team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Human Resources (payroll, benefits, workers comp, etc.)
